We are delighted to offer Sterling Essentials, a series of small group workshops for experienced nonprofit professionals. At Sterling, we believe that through our work we can untangle knotted systems, untether harmful preconceptions, and build larger and more level playing fields. Sterling Essentials is a dynamic program for nonprofit development professionals who are ready to take the next step in today’s competitive fundraising environment. Through interactive group sessions and one-on-one coaching, Sterling’s consultants will walk with you beyond the basics to discover ways to increase your organization’s contributed revenue.
This course will delve into the essential areas of fundraising opportunity, from donor acquisition and retention to major gifts and planned giving—equipping participants with new knowledge, innovative resources, and real-time guidance to drive fundraising success. Who
Intermediate level to experienced nonprofit fundraisers looking to gain new knowledge and skills. Please note that due to the personalized format of this course, space is limited.
When
In-person group sessions will take place February 7, February 21, March 6, March 27, and April 10, 2024 from 11:00 am–1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. One-on-one mentoring sessions will be scheduled in coordination with participants’ calendars. Deadline to apply is Friday, November 17 at 5:00 pm.
Cost
The cost for the course is $500.
Scholarships are available, so please do not let price be a deterring factor.
If your application is selected, we will work with you to ensure that cost is not a barrier.
Format
- Five two-hour group sessions.
- Four one-on-one mentoring sessions with a Sterling consultant.
